Volunteer Health & Safety Measures at Harvest Pack Events
Thank you for volunteering to pack meals with us. Harvest Pack values the health and wellness of everyone in our community and strives to follow best practices for volunteer and community health. We are also required to follow FDA guidelines for safe food preparation. To ensure the safety of our volunteers, staff, and the food we pack, please do not come to volunteer if you have any new or unexplained symptoms indicative of contagious illness or food-borne diseases.

General Illness Information:
If you have had any of the following symptoms in the last 24 hours, please refrain from volunteering at this time:

Cough

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Fatigue

Muscle or body aches

Headache
-
New loss of taste or smell

Sore throat

Congestion or runny nose

Nausea or vomiting

Diarrhea

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please stay home. If you have tested positive for flu or Covid-19, or have experienced gastrointestinal illness, you must be symptom and fever-free for 24 hours before volunteering.

If you're feeling unwell due to a cold, flu, COVID, or any other illness, we appreciate you staying home to rest and recover. Thank you for helping keep our staff, volunteers, and the food we distribute safe and healthy.
